St. Odilia School students and staff are called to share God’s love and mercy. We are called to put others’ needs before our own, making our world a place of love and justice for all people. St. Odilia School students and staff are committed to sharing God’s love through our willingness to reach out to those in need.
One way we do this is through our involvement in and commitment to service. We hold a variety of service projects throughout the school year. Some projects include the entire school community, some are coordinated with the parish community, while others are planned and carried out at specific grade levels.
We strive to offer multiple models of giving throughout the year for students to learn that there are various ways they can give. Monetary or material donations are one way we help others, but St. Odilia also provides opportunities for students to serve with their time and talents.
There are many volunteer opportunities for students at St. Odilia School, especially as students enter Middle School and take on leadership roles.
To encourage active involvement in our school and parish communities, the Middle School Faculty has established a sweatshirt program for students in grades 6-8. After completing a set number of service hours, middle schoolers can earn a special navy-colored sweatshirt that they can wear as part of their school uniform.
