Seventh Grade

Seventh-grade students are in another transition year as they are neither the new kids on the block nor the graduating class. Students are assigned more responsibility as they move on their way to becoming independent eighth-graders.

Students participate in a variety of projects, including two science inquiry projects relating to insects and the brain. In religion class, students experience a semester-long Poverty Project to get a small glimpse of living with and surviving poverty. Students also earn a Red Cross certification for CPR as part of health class. A mid-year highlight is a three-day overnight trip to Long Lake Conservation Camp.
