St. Odilia uses several measurements to assess the quality of education provided and the performance and progress of our students. Two of these methods are the accreditation process and standardized testing.
Standardized tests provide teachers, parents, and students with a comprehensive measurement of each student's progress. Although these tests are only one piece of a student's performance, they aid in the educational process.
St. Odilia students take online tests through Learnia, an online testing program provided by the Harcourt publishing company. Students take two "Class Views" tests during the school year in order to evaluate and report their progress. Students also take "Class Links" tests to assist the teacher in evaluating student comprehension of subject matter as well as to give students practice taking the tests online.
After the spring test, students and parents receive test results in a report. Overall, St. Odilia students score high on standardized tests, in relation to national and Archdiocesan comparisons.
